Director, Center for Estate and Gift Planning

Paul began his Lipscomb career in May 2007 after 23 years in the insurance and investment industry. He graduated from Cumberland University in Lebanon, TN in 1987 with a degree in Business Administration. He became a Certified Financial Planner™ practitioner in 2003. He has been very active in community and charitable organizations through the years. He serves as song leader for the Maple Hill Church of Christ in Lebanon, TN. He and his wife, Lesa, have two children. In his role as CFP® and Director, Center for Estate and Gift Planning, Paul is able to assist the donor in making the best use of income and estate tax law while helping to further our mission to educate and "equip each graduate for leadership in the home, church and community." Dr. John Lowry
Vice President for Development and External Affairs

John Lowry is vice president for development and external affairs. As such, he manages the university's fundraising activity as well as community involvement. Lowry also serves as executive director of Spark, Lipscomb's technology-rich, off-campus learning and community/corporate meeting location in Williamson County. Lowry has a Juris Doctorate from Southern Methodist University's Dedman School of Law, a bachelor's degree from Pepperdine University and a master's degree from Abilene Christian University. He also has completed graduate work in dispute resolution at the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine University School of Law and in public policy at California State University, Sacramento.
